April 2015 Loot Crate Review: FANTASY!
Loot Crate is a monthly geek and gamer swag subscription box. Each month they send 6 to 8 handpicked items for $13.37 plus $6 shipping and handling. Each box are guaranteed to have a value of $30 or more. The box is shipped via USPS Priority Mail and most times arrive in about 2 days which is very awesome.
The theme for April is Fantasy. You'll find items from Harry Potter, Game Of Thrones, and Princess Bride. Heres what i received from Loot Crate this month:
Dungeons & Dragons T-Shirt: Not gunna lie, i am really not digging this print at all. I’m not really sure exactly what its supposed to be. I got that its a dragon but in the shape of the & sign? I don’t know, its weird. After reading the booklet its from Dungeons and Dragons, I used to play and love it but I just didn’t put two and two together.
Harry Potter Luggage Tag: Now THIS is awesome. I was actually looking online for a luggage tag cuz I was tired of everyone else having the same ugly color luggage like mine. Now I will be able to tell the difference, unless they steal it, then i’d be pretty mad.
Inflatable Crown: What am I going to do with this, really? Anything inflatable I just won’t bother because that requires effort. I don’t like the taste or smell of plastic anyways.
EXCLUSIVE RPG Bow Tie: Another bow tie from Black Tie Geeks. I think for this one in particular it would be cooler to give it to a Dungeon Master while playing D&D.
The Princess Bride Playing Cards: The only issue I have with this deck of cards is that it has been in a previous crate from another company. If you are going to make something “exclusive” to your crate then you should probably check if its been used before.
EXCLUSIVE Game of Thrones USB Flash Drive: This was really cool. I love creative looking USB drives so I can tell the difference with each of them and enjoy looking at them.
Game of Thrones Magnet Set: Well now my fridge is going to look spiffy with Game of Thrones themed magnets, yay!
Themed Button: Button Swag, at least they decided to keep this in for the collection.
Loot Crate Unboxing Guide: Every Loot Crate comes with a booklet that explains every item in the box and where it comes from.
Themed Box: The box is designed with a Fantasy-esk theme.
